      Look for the features you want, not megapixels. Do you want more zoom than just 3X or 4X optical, Do you want a camera fully automatic or one where you can set shutter speed and aperture. There are point and shoots out there with an image stabilizer for shaky hands. 5 or 6 megapixels is fine, the more megapixels does not always mean a better photo. My daughter’s 5 megapixel Fuji takes excellent 8X10 prints. There are 7 megapixel camera that don’t do as well. Maybe you want a tiny camera. So certain things you should consider. Depending on the model, excellent point and shoot cameras come from Fuji, Sony, Nikon, and Canon.

      i suggest canon digital cameras, for example canon a560 or canon a650
